Our Story
Kokan Welfare Society, Kuwait (KWS) is founded in 2012 by like minded people from Kokan region (coastal Maharashtra) residing in Kuwait. The motivation behind the formation of this association is to bring community on a common platform and work together for the development and welfare of all people especially for the people from Kokan region and generally from India.
KWS understands importance of unity and it is fundamental to its all activities and consciously promoting brotherhood among the members. We believe that education and economic empowerment of members would uplift the community and contribute in the region and nation building as a whole; whether it’s back home or place we work.
Our dedicated team of Executive Committee, Coordination Committee and Volunteer Committee members are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our community members. We believe that everyone deserves an equal chance to succeed, and we are committed to providing the support and resources necessary to help individuals and families in need.
At KWS, we are always looking for new ways to make a difference in our community. We believe in promoting urge of community service among members and hence, since inception KWS has evolved long way achieving many innovative milestones in community service with increasing participation by community.
